August 5, 2003 my best man and best bud Paul. We are wearing our hand made shirts for mine and Amber's hippy wedding in Las Vegas. Amber worked very hard making our shirts. I have been very fortunate to have a friend like Studley (as I like to call him). Paul is one of my oldest friends and has always filled the roll of my older brother, keeping me out of trouble. Back in the pre-married days when Studley and I was running on the wild side he sometimes had to be the voice of common sense. Our relationship had a perfect balance, with me being a little wild/adventurous and him being more down to earth with a good sense of caution. We have had a lot of memorable fun times together, and I could always count on him getting me home safely after a fun wild night on the town. Some of the best memories I have is riding motorcycles, going on river trips, and hanging out in clubs with this old friend. I did not have a blood brother just two sisters, but in our minds there is absolutely no difference, we are family.
Paul sure has had a lot of changes in his life in the last few years. Paul remarried to a nice lady by the name of Liz. Liz is an okay lady in my book, but she sure does get cocky now and then. I just have to raise the “Pimp Hand” and she straightens right out! :-) Paul and Liz bought a nice house on the N.E. side of OKC so we do not see each other as much as I would like, but still hang out from time to time, and we do stay in touch. Amber took over the task of keeping me out of trouble, so he left me in good hands.
Note: See the look Liz has on her face in this picture above? This is the look she will have on her face when she reads the previous paragraph, only her eyes will be a little more squinted. I think I get a personal satisfaction out of giving her a hard time. Is that wrong? I don't think so!

They make a great couple.
Also worth noting is the song playing (Watch The Wind Blow By) is Paul & Liz's song not mine and Studley's, so don't get any funny ideas.
